AIMCET MCA 2011 All India MCA Common Entrance Test
Indian Institute of Technology’s (IITs) conducts AIMCET (All India MCA Common Entrance Test) 2011 for the students aspiring to do MCA (Master of Computer Applications).

Eligibility Criteria for All India MCA Common Entrance Test:
An examinee must be of Indian citizen.
An examinee must also have passed class XII examination in any stream with mathematics as a main discipline.
An examinee should also be a bachelor with at least three-year degree.
An examinee appearing for the final year examination can also apply for MCA entrance exam.

Key Dates (Tentative):
Last week of April, 2011 will be Last Date of the Receipt of the Form
Mid of May Admit, 2011 will be Date of Cards Dispatch
First week of June, 2011 will be Date of Entrance Test

Please note that the dates are only tentative and are not final. The post will be updated as soon as the dates are officially released.

AIMCET MCA 2011 Pattern
The AIMCET MCA paper will have 200 objective type questions and all questions will be of four marks. The Test lasts for three hours. The Test paper will extend mathematics of XII standard.

Computer Awareness – 40 Questions
Analytical ability & Logical Reasoning – 40 Questions
General Awareness – 20 Questions

I have not got my admit card for the Tezpur university , MCA Entrance Examinations 2011

Do the eligibility criteria for AIMCET say that you have to pass Class XIIth with mathematics as one of your subjects????? What if a student has passed mathematics paper in bca but didnt have mathematics in his/her XIIth standard????? Is still he/she not eligible for appearing in AIMCET entrance exams???? Plz clarify this doubt soon..........
