Is it mandatory to study PhD to become a Lecturer for MCA(H) postgraduate?


Hi everyone, I have done MCA(H) and I want to become a Lecturer now. So, my question is, for becoming a Lecturer it is mandatory to do PhD program? Kindly let me know about this as soon as possible. Thank you!

No, it is not mandatory to pursue Doctor of Philosophy course in order to become eligible for Lectureship. The academic qualification required to apply for National Eligibility Test is master's degree from a recognized university. Final year post graduation candidates can also apply for exam.

Candidates must have minimum of 55% marks in master's degree to become eligible for National Eligibility Test.

No, not at all. You can apply for Lecturer by having a master's degree.
