Is maths compulsory for BCA I'm little not sure about maths and I'm confused between bba and bca I'm not much interested in business so opting for bca but maths is my problem I want to do somthing interestig means I like innovative which I find in bca plz help

Eligibility for BCA

>> 12th passed with 50% marks or other equivalent qualification from recognized board.

>> You have must have MATHS/STATISTICS/BUSINESS MATHEMATICS/physics in your class 12th.

The admission procedure to Bachelors in Computer Application course is similar to the other Under Graduate Programs.

As for the age criteria most of the colleges need the candidates to be at least 17 years old. The maximum age varies between 22 to 25 years.

The application forms are normally available during the period the 12th standard results are declared.

Many candidates are having this doubt and they are not sure whether they are eligible or not to join BCA course.

You did not mention the stream that you have gone through in your 10+2.

As per your question, I can understand that you did not have Mathematics in your 10+2.

But that is not a problem to join BCA course.

Candidates from any stream like
-Science stream
-Arts stream

are eligible to join BCA course.

To get admission for this BCA course, some colleges will conduct entrance exam. Some other colleges will give direct admission for this course.

The duration of this course is 3 years.

It is a technical related course. After completion of this course, you will be able to get job opportunities in various IT companies like

Wipro
Infosys
TCS
Mahindra Satyam etc.

To get good job profile and good salary, I suggest you to complete your Post Graduation in MCA.

But to join, it is mandatory to crack the Entrance Exam.

First decide yourself whether you are having interest to work in IT industry and then opt for this course.

If you are not interested of doing job in IT sector, then choose some other course which you are interested.

i m doing bca from sikkim manipal university distance , i had not math in class 12. May i shall got any job

I want to do bca but in ( 2) I dnt hv maths subject bt I hv business maths subject so should I eligible to do this course.

I have completed 12th with 47% marks in commerce without maths from Jharkhand board and now i wanted to do BCA so shall i get admission or not.

I have completed 12th with 58% marks in science without maths from maharashtra board and now i wanted to do BCA or BCS so shall i get admission or not.

I done my 12th with 65% from Assam board without maths. Can I do BCA
