As you have exceeded both the age criteria, I am very sorry to tell you that you are not eligible to appear for the LL.B course.

I am sorry but LLB can not be done at the age for 52 years. Unfortunately you have surpassed the age limit therefore no college will offer you admission for the LLB course.

There is a age limit which was introduced by the Bar Council of India to given fair opportunity to the candidates who prefers LLB as their first option. The Bar Council has the view that candidates who apply for the course after certain age are not really serious about the course and therefore holds unfair advantage.

This is why there is a age limit that unfortunately makes you ineligible for the LLB course. Do not try to take admission through correspondence because such degrees are not acceptable to the Bar Council of India.

The Bar Council of India will not allow you to practice in the court if pursued a law course through correspondence or distance education.

I am afraid you will have to cosider you other option.

Eligibility

1. Any graduate can apply for this course.

2. But he should complete graduation with at least 45 percent marks.

3. SC/ST should have 40 percent marks.

4. The upper age limit is 30 years for the course.

5. For SC/ST the age limit is 35 years.

6. There is no relaxation for OBC.

Dear Friend,

I Am sorry to say but you cannot get admission in the LLB course at an age of 52 years.

This is because , recently the Bar Council Of India has introduced the age limit for the LLB Course.

This step has been taken by the Bar Council Of India to provide complete opportunity to those students who want to pursue LLB Course after completing 12th as their career option.

The Qualifications Required for LLB Course are :

* The Candidate must hold a Bachelor`s Degree in any stream from any recognized college/stream.

* The Candidate must have secured a minimum of 45% marks in graduation.

* There is a relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST Candidates.

* The Age Limit for LLB Course is 21-30 years and relaxation of 5 years is given in upper age to SC/ST Candidates.

* No Relaxation is granted to OBC candidates for the LLB Course.

* The Candidate must be an Indian Citizen.

So , from the above mentioned its quite clear that you cannot pursue the LLB Course at an age of 52 years.

This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Hope the information will help you to the extent you want.

Hi Friend............

LLB -- Bachelor of Laws.

There are two types of LLB courses for undergraduates,

3 years and
5 years .

Both degrees are recognized by the Bar Council.

The 3 year course of LLB consist of 6 semesters and 5 year course consist of 9 semesters.

Eligibility Criteria :-

You must be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized college.

Your percentage must be min of 40% in your Graduation.

For SC/ST the percentage relaxation is 35%.

Age Limitations :

Previously, there was no Upper Age Limit for LLB course.

But, Recently Bar Council Of India i.e BCI has announced a Statement regarding the Age Limitations for LLB Course.

BCI released a Statement that, the Upcoming Applications for LLB course must follow Age Limits.

The Age Limits are, the Applicant must be below 20 years Age Limit for the five-year LLB course and a 30 years Age Limit for the three-year LLB course.

This System has started its implementation from this year(2012).

So, as per this you are not allowed for LLB Course at your 36.

And also one needs to be an GRADUATE to get into the LLB course.
