hey,
According to the Bar Council of India,it has imposed age restrictions for LLB courses. The amended rules on age limit is as follows, maximum age for admission for five years LLB course is 20 and the maximum age for the three years LLB courses is 30. also for LLB Minimum 50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent and 45% for SC/ST/OBC is required. For the 3 years LL.B course, the maximum age limit is 20 years, and for the 5 years LL>B course, it is 30 years of age.
As you have exceeded both the age criteria, I am very sorry to tell you that you are not eligible to appear for the LL.B course. |

There is no fixed age limit to do L.L.B. in India. Some Important Dates for C.L.A.T. :- Date of Submitting the Application Form : 31.03.2012 Date of Examination : 13.05.2012 Eligibility Criteria :- 1.Age : A candidate must not be more than 20 years. 2.Educational Qualification : The candidate must have 50% marks in 10th and 12th standard. yes you can apply for 5 years LLB course after 12th standard. you have to write entrance exam to get into this course. For that you need to have above 50% in your 10+2 standard. you should be citizen of india. there are state level entrance exam as well as entrance exam conducting by individual specific institution or colleges. most popular entrance exam for LLB is CLAT. some institutions intake candidates on the basis of 12th percentage and some on entrance exams. minimum age criteria is 17 years. good luck #ixzz1nhFHlNod |

The LLB is a law course degree.
