hsc % 48% science
b.m.s.% 62% management
but

cat marks is 199, cet 190
do such marks get admission in good colleges like jbims iims xlri????

Definitely a Student with low academic marks can get better MBA colleges like IIM. There are several MBA entrance exams are conducted for taking entry into TOP MBA colleges and if you can crack these exam ,then you will definitely get admission and that will be through these entrance exams.


The major MBA entrance exams are as follows :

• CAT
• MAT
• XAT

If you can crack CAT ,then you will get direct admission and there is no any criteria specified for students who has cracked CAT and have low score in past. Means you will get admission directly .don't worry.

You are very much eligible.A lower academic carrier in 12 th examination will not effect so much to get admission in the MBA colleges.Besides this, you have high entrance examination marks , so don't take pressure.In future it will create some problem in campussing.But all it will be covered when you actually crack it.

To get admission for MBA all you need to do is to have a Bachelor Degree in any discipline.
Although it seems that you have a less percentage of marks comparing to others.
But, the entrance exam doesn't depend on this sort of things.

i have got 86% in MAT and my accademic records as follow:

I have scored 709.5 in my MAT exam,95.34 percentile. The only problem
is I have an aggregate of 43% in my B.Com.( Calcutta University) Is
there anyway I can get an admission in a good college who have an eligibity of 50% in b.com. My 10th
percentage was 78% and 12th was 63%( Both done from Bangalore).
I have a work experience of 6 months and various extra curricular certificates.

Top MBA colleges not only look for your entrance exam score but also various other components such as

- 10th marks
- 12th marks
- graduation marks
- work ex
- entrance exam score
- GD
- PI
- Extra curriculum

These component varies from college to college.

at 43% in B.Com you wont get any good mba colleges ( you should have atleast 50% marks in graduation from UGC recognized college.

I scored 86.4% in my 10th...94% in 12th...and now I am in my third year of my UG...My GPA as of now is 7.3...If I could improve it above 7.5 at the end of my graduation, and i crack my CAT with a good percentile(lets say 90)...What are the chances that I can get into a reputed B-school...My soft skills are not bad too...
