What is the minimum qualification for tet exam...could u please provide to me the qualifications

Dear friend,
qualification eligibility for TET(I-V) exam is passed intermediate with minimum of 50% total.
Minimum age is 18 years for all category. Maximum age limit is for
General - 37 yrs
OBC- 40 YRS
SC/ST- 42 YRS

TET means Teacher Eligibility Test. Its an exam conducted by the UP government to select Teachers for the institutions functioning under it.

Eligibility Criteria for TET :

1. A person who has acquired the academic and professional qualifications in minimum graduation.

2. A person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be)

3. Age is not any factor.

So if you fulfill these criteria's then you may certainly apply for the TET exam.

The TET exam is conducted for two different levels.
For primary level, you must have passed higher secondary examination along with a diploma or degree in Education.
For Elementary Level, you need to be a graduate and should have done diploma or degree course in Education.

sir,i hv done my b.a this yr,n also passe d ptet exam 2012 ,so am i elegible for this exam?

Sir, I got 88 marks out of 150 ( first paper 40 & second paper 48 ) I know that the result is failed, but some student marks only 83 & they're passed how to possible sir, who is the best candidate ???????? So, please reply

TET Stands for Teacher`s Eligibility Test


The Minimum Qualifications That you should have in order to be eligible for TET are :

* Educational Qualifications : Pass in any graduation degree from any recognized college/university.

* Age : There is no age limit for this.

* Nationality : Indian.

* You must have to secure a minimum of 60% in order to be selected for teaching jobs.

You must have a Graduation from a recognized university

Must be an Indian Citizen


B.ED DEGREE ALSO REQUIRED


You must have secured a minimum of " 50% " in your Academics

There is no age limit for the TET exam


THERE IS NO LIMIT OF NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS
