TET stands for Teacher eligibility test.

The minimum percentage of marks required to apply for TET is that the candidate must have passed graduation with atleast 45% marks from a recognized university.

As there is no relaxation of marks in educational qualifications.

Being a SC candidate, you are eligible for TET exam.

Those candidates who have completed 12th standard with above 50% marks or completed graduation degree from a recognized university are eligible for TET exam.

Your age should be in between 18 to 40 years.

Eligibility Criteria Required to Apply for TET Exam for SC Category Candidates:

Yes, you are of course eligible to apply for Teacher Eligibility Test with the above mentioned percentage criteria. The basic educational qualification required to be eligible for appearing in TET Examination is "Graduation" or Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Since you have completed Graduation and have passed B.Ed, I am sure you are certainly eligible. As far as percentage criteria is concerned, the minimum percentage required is "50% marks". But remember there is a relaxation for SC category candidates and for them the minimum percentage required is "45% marks" only. Since you have secured 45% marks in Graduation, you are certainly eligible.

Note: Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks (45% marks SC/ ST/ OBC/ Differently abled candidates) in the minimum educational qualification for eligibility shall be allowed to candidates belonging to above reserved category.

For general category 50% marks is the minimum criteria for becoming eligible for B.Ed admission. You are SC category candidate, which will allow you to get relaxation of 5% marks.

That means with 45% marks you are definitely eligible for TET being a SC category candidate. Just keep the caste certificate ready because it will be required for getting relaxation.
