There are quite a few entrance exams that are conducted at the all India level. The most common exam which normally all candidates appear for is the All India Medical Entrance exam. Other than this there are entrance exams which are conducted at the state level. Also there are some entrance exams conducted by private hospitals like the Amrita. CPMT is a state level exam which is conducted in UP and Haryana.
