Postgraduation is a must for a candidate who wishes to appear for the NET exam. Since you have completed M.Tech you can apply for the same. You need to have secured 60% in the same. Also you can appear only in the areas where you specialised in postgraduation. The UGC site provides all the information about this test.

I have done my B.E. in eletronics and communication engineering with second class
and M.Tech in computer science and engineering with second class I have got teaching Diploma colleges and solid Industry experience in MNC companies almost 8 years .I am very much interested in teaching field I would like to know whether I am eligible in engineering colleges for assistant professor. If not how I can upgrade my education for the eligibilty . Is I am eleigible for NET exam? plz let me know in detail. Thanking you, |
