NIT Trichy will conduct the common written exam for taking admission in M.sc Courses.Written exam have the following pattern :

1. Total number of questions will be 44.
2. Each questions will be 3 marks.
3. For each wrong answer 1 marks will be deducted.
4. Total duration of the written exam will be 03 hours.

Questions will be objective cum descriptive type and you will have to explain or solve the questions in the given space only.No additional paper will be given to the candidates for solving the problems.

Questions in M.sc Chemistry entrance exam will be from following sections :

1. Physical Chemistry.
2. Organic Chemistry.
3. In-Organic Chemistry.

Questions will be Multiple choice type questions,Fill in the blank type questions,descriptive type questions.Marking scheme will be 20%,50% and 30% respectively.
