I have registered for gate but before completing the registration, when it is asked to log on using the id and password, though I have given the right id and password the site tells that they are invalid credentials. Please help me as soon as possible because the date for application is going to be over. Thanking you.

you are mistakenly entering wrong id or password. please check it and then enter it right. if it still fails. then write your id right and click on forgot password they will send you the new password to your e-mail address.

Use password recovering option or email me cauz i also filled gate online form.

why dont u register again and create new id (or)u can buy the application form directlly from banks

i think your security number is creating problem. in this condition i will suggest you to register again in that site and try to fill up the form.

if same problem appear then use different computer to fill up the form. i think you will be able to fill up the form. only 4days is left. try soon. 27th is the last date for online form fill up. if again problem appears inform me soon i will try to give you proper suggestion.

If this problem has occured...you have to click on the link..."Forgot password"..provided just below the user login space...Which will redirect you to a page asking for your E-mail id..Then a fresh password will be sent to your mail id...otherwise immediately contact with the IIT officiaals..The numbers are povided in the vouchers..of the gATE form.

dear friend,

do not worry.after filled the form if you save the 5 pages pdf documents(contains Bank challan,candidate copy,institutional copy, instruction page,address slip) then do not need to re open this.otherwise if you have not filled the form then try to make another account,bcoz sometimes there problem may occured.

And try to do all works at a single sitting.and remind the ID & password carefully.

As password is case sensitive so may be you are entering it as "caps Lock on or OFF".first check it ,after that may be it is possible that the system has not accept your details.For this you are advised to contact the office offline.

I have also the same problem......my suggestion is that you can go immediately to State Bank of India, where the GATE application form is available.........the date of GATE form is available in SBI Bank is 27th october,2010.
Don't wasting your time on internet.......

The login and passwords are not required for the students, as the online tests have largely been withdrawn. After introducing online testing, the login and passwords will be activated. Be happy all the best

Read this carefully.

Firstly check your Id & password once again...
If you strongly believe that they are correct then do this...

1. Try logging in using different computers in different areas in your city/
vicinity. If succeeded, complete all your tasks remaining...

2. If you fail.. Contact immediately to GATE authority by phone...

How to get scolorschip from SCI

Hi Dinil

It is very unfortunate that in spite of providing the correct credentials, the portal is saying invalid credentials. Try again, check whether CAPS lock on your computer is ON or not, check for NUM lock as well if you have used any numbers in your password. If it still doesn't work, open this link http://onlinegate.iitm.ac.in/iitweb/ and click on the third option which says "In Case You Forgot Your Password CLICK HERE"..Then put in your login ID and click on proceed. A new password will be generated for you which will be sent to your mail ID. Hope this helps.

hi friend,

Registration of GATE this time performed only to reduce the amount of work by form filling student. GATE registration is done only to get the filled performa for the candidate in candidate's interest. Same thing(wrong credentials) was also happened with me, it is not your fault at all. It is something wrong with the website-server which do not accept new account password immediately.
So right from now you have following ways to get this problem out:
- Either you try to login again having checked your keys, like if you gave your possword in caps-off position then just made caps-off while entering password(as said by Mrs. Praveen)
-Click on forgot password, then follow instructions. It automatically delivers a password copy to your given email ID. And you will soon be able to login with this.
-If it doesnt work , then re-register yourself and this time doesnt logout till the time you dont have softcopy of your application form(because this account system is only to get application form printed in future).Apply with this new account.
-If none of them worked, then friend, just go to your nearest bank , and forget about the spare 200/- which you will be spending for this. And fill the form offline. This wont bluff anymore.

1.fill the application offline.

2.visit to your near the the gate zonal office.

Due to some error the website was not opening properly. but now they have corrected and now you can login and complete it.Dont worry about the last date .It has been extended to 21 for website closure and 28 for receiving the form

please anybody say how do i get my gate admitt card 2013 as i forgot my email password... any alternative please help me.......
