if you are an ece student and you have agood command over your feild
then i would suggest you to choose ECE as one of your optionals

and for other optional subject go for you interest in any particular subject

every body has intersest in any one of the subject which he or she is not persuing
I am sure you must also be having one....

that will help you a lot....

you can take electronics as your optionals, but the portion is vast.if you feel difficult to take electronics, choose optionals from general subjects like public administration ,sociology, geography, history.

Regarding selections of optionals you should give the max importance to your interest because you have to spend a lot of time in studying your selected subjects if you don't have interest in what you have selected then

it will become mere waste in ..you will be suffered with boredom so don't listen anyone's suggestion go through the syllabus and topics of each and every optional

select the subject in which you are most attracted and have a 80% interested topics in the syllabus

this is how you have to select the optionals

this should be your target and you have to rock the preparation time interestingly not boringly

so if you are interested then select that if every one says even it is the toughest one ..

this is all the opinion of my friends who are preparing for the same

Take the guidance of successful and unsuccessful candidates
