You have all of the options available. You can join LLB course by clearing the Common Low Admission Test (CLAT). To become eligible for the CLAT examination you should have at-least 50% marks in 10+2 examination from a recognized board or University. After qualifying in the CLAT examination you can join undergraduate or integrated masters degree program in low. And after graduation you can practice in a court. Good Luck... |

Re: How much minimum percentage of marks is required in 12th for taking admission in law schools?
You can certainly take admission for the law course after completing 12th standard. You can complete 12th standard with any subjects or any stream like Arts, Commerce and Science.
Once you have completed 12th standard the best option is to apply for the integrated LLB course. The duration of the integrated LLB course is 5 years. To apply for LLB the candidate should have a graduation degree. Since the candidates are required to do double graduation to become lawyer, the integrated LLB course was introduced. The integrated LLB course includes a bachelor course and LLB to make a combined 5 years course. To apply for this course you will have to appear for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). Eligibility 1. Must have completed 12th from any stream. 2. The student interested should have 45 percent or more marks in 12th. 3. SC/ST can write this exam with 40 percent marks in 12th. 4. Maximum age to appear is 20 years. 5. The age limit is 22 years for SC/ST. If you are not meeting the criteria to appear for the Common Law Admission Test then there is nothing to worry about. In such circumstances you should first complete graduation and then apply for the 3 years LLB course. LLB Eligibility 1. Bachelor degree with 45 percent marks. 2. SC/ST can apply with 40 percent marks in graduation. 3. Anyone older than 30 years is not eligible. 4. SC/ST candidate is allowed to apply till 35 years. |
