Re: PhD is mandatory to become a Psychologist? Can I work in hospitals with MA Psychology?
Ph.D is not compulsory to become a psychologist. With M.A.(Psychology), You can work as a Psychologist. If you want to go for teaching or research sector, then Ph.D in psychology is better to pursue after post graduation. No any special examination to start practice as a psychologist.
Scope In Psychology After M.A.(Psychology), You will have career opportunities to work in different work areas. You can work as a Counsellor, Childcare Worker, Community Relations Officer, Health Educator, Recreation Worker, Social Worker, Rehabilitation Specialist etc. Work Areas - Hospitals - Old Age Homes - Prisons - Rehabilitation Centers - Laboratories - Welfare Organizations - Educational Institutions - HR Departments - Research Sectors |
