Hello friends, I am interested to join Indian Army after completing my Graduation. I am doing BSc in Nursing course. So, please help me to know that is it possible to join Indian Army for me? Waiting for your response!

You will be eligible to appear in CDS examination. Examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.

The eligibility to appear in examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.

So, you are eligible to appear in examination after completion of bachelor degree. The age limit is 20-24 years. Examination is conducted in two stages and candidate have to appear and qualify in both stages for final selection.

Yes, you are eligible to join Indian Army after completion of your B.Sc. (Nursing) course. To join Indian Army, you have to appear in CDS examination after completion of your B.Sc. (Nursing) course. Candidates who have passed Bachelor's degree course in any discipline from a recognised university, unmarried male candidates who are in the age range of 19 to 24 years are eligible to appear in CDS examination for joining in Indian Army.

Union Public Service commission conducts Combined Defence Services exam for graduates. Candidates who have done bachelor's degree in any stream are eligible for Military academy and Officer's Training academy.

B.Sc Nursing candidates can apply for CDS exam for IMA and OTA. The age limit is 19-24 years and 19-25 years. There is written test followed by SSB. At present, you can apply for CDS II of 2019.

If you are pursuing B.Sc. Nursing right now, then you can join Indian Army after completion of this graduation course. You can also apply for joining Indian army while studying in final year of your course.

To apply for joining Indian Army, you will have to apply for CDS Exam first that is conducted by UPSC.

In CDS exam, following stages will be conducted.

• Written Exam
• SSB Interview

After clearing SSB Interview, you will be recruited to Indian Army.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing candidates can apply for Combined Defence Services to join Indian Military academy.

Requirements for Combined Defence Services examination conducted by UPSC:

Academic qualification: Bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized stream for IMA.

Age criteria: 19-24 years.

Both unmarried male and female candidates can apply for CDS examination.

=> As per my knowledge, you are eligible to join Indian Army after B.Sc(Nursing).

=>You can join army by applying in C.D.S.E. (Combined Defence Services examination)

CDS examination is conducted by UPSC. It is conducted in two stages. The eligibility to appear in examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.
