Yes, there is a scope for Electrical Engineering students in Indian Railways through IES(Indian Engineering Services) exam, which is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission).

Educational qualification regarding IES exam:-

1) Candidates must have their Bachelor degree in Engineering field from any reputed university.

2) Age:- 21 years - 30 years.

3) Age relaxation:- 3 years(OBC) and 5 years(SC/ST) candidates.

4) Candidates must be an Indian origin.
