Yes, it is possible to study B.Tech Electrical Engineering course through LEET after completion of your Diploma in ECE course. Candidates who have passed three years Diploma in ECE course from a Government recognised institute are eligible to get direct admission in second year of B.Tech ECE course through lateral entry admission process by appearing and qualifying the entrance examinations like LEET, ECET, etc., which is conducted by your respective state technical board of education. After qualifying the entrance examination, you have to participate in the counselling process according to your examination rank, so, that you will be offered admission in second year of B.Tech course.

Yes, it is possible for a Diploma holder in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) to pursue a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Electrical Engineering through the Lateral Entry Engineering Test (LEET) in many institutions.

LEET is an entrance examination specifically designed for Diploma holders who wish to join the second year (third semester) of the BTech program directly. The purpose of LEET is to provide an opportunity for Diploma holders to upgrade their qualifications and continue their education at the undergraduate level.

To pursue BTech in Electrical Engineering through LEET as an ECE Diploma holder, you would typically need to follow these steps:

Complete your Diploma in ECE: Ensure that you successfully complete your diploma program in Electronics and Communication Engineering and obtain the necessary certification.

Check the eligibility requirements: Review the eligibility criteria set by the institution where you plan to pursue your BTech in Electrical Engineering. The eligibility criteria may vary between institutions, but generally, a minimum percentage or grade in the Diploma program is required.

Apply for LEET: Apply for the LEET entrance examination by submitting the application form and paying the required fee. The examination is typically conducted by the respective state technical education board or an appropriate authority designated by the institution.

Prepare for the LEET examination: Study the prescribed syllabus and topics for the LEET examination, which usually covers subjects related to Engineering Mathematics, Basic Sciences, and core subjects of Electrical Engineering.

Clear the LEET examination: Take the LEET examination and achieve a qualifying score to be eligible for admission.

Apply for admission: After clearing the LEET examination, you can apply for admission to the BTech program in Electrical Engineering. Follow the application process specified by the institution, which may include submitting relevant documents, such as your Diploma certificate, LEET scorecard, and other required documents.

Seat allotment and counseling: Based on your LEET score and the availability of seats, the institution will conduct counseling and seat allotment processes to assign seats to eligible candidates.
