My daughter is in her 9th Class in Andhra Pradesh. Can she appear for MP PMT 2015 as a Local Candidate if she completes her +2 from Madhya Pradesh ? If not, what is the % of seats for Non-Local candidates ?

The pre medical tests of state has been abandoned from 2017 according to order of Supreme court for an uniform and unified national level entrance exam for admission in MBBS and BDS courses.

The onus of conducting exam is on CBSE and now it conducts NEET for this purpose. The acronym NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. There is 15% reservation for all India quota seats and rest 85% for state government colleges. Your daughter can get admission in any college of India on basis of her rank.

Madhya Pradesh Pre Medical Test was gateway to state medical colleges earlier in courses like dental or MBBS.

But due to rampant corruption in Vyapam case and other state related case, SC decided to ban all state from conducting MBBS exam to give priority to meritocracy. Any candidate needs to apply for NEET exam for admission in these professional courses.
