Yes.
It is possible to do B.Tech for B.Sc passed student. In this case you have to sit for a written exam conducted by WBJEE for lateral entry in the 2nd year of B.Tech. directly. You need a 50% marks in your B.sc. |

Is it possible to do B.Tech after BSc after scoring less than 60%?
Yes, It is Possible to Do B.tech Course After completing Your B.sc. Because to apply For B.tech Course, You need pass in 12th examination with atleast 55%marks from recognized Board Or University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. But Some colleges consider only the 60% aggregate in the science subjects. So, If you have passed In your 12th examination with atleast 55% Marks, then you are eligible to appear in AIEEE entrance examination. And if you have scored good marks in AIEEE Exams, then You will get admission In Good Colleges. But, if you want to get Direct Admission In B.tech Course, then You have to scored Minimum 55% Marks in Your 12th In Physics and Mathematics Only then you will get admission in B.tech Course. But Manny top Colleges will give you admission If you have scored atleat 60% Marks in your 12th exams. So, its totally depends on the Colleges to Colleges. So, you dont worry, If you hae scored Minimum 55% Marks In your 12th exams, then you are eligible to get admission In B.tech Course. So, After Completing Your B.sc, You can definitely Apply for B.tech Course. |

Re: Is it possible to do B.Tech after BSc after scoring less than 60%?
yes obviously u can do B.tech after ur Bsc and ur having ur marks in between 55-60%.
u can appear for AIEEE, WBJEE. u can also fill the forms of different deemed universities like 1.VIT(vellore institute of technology, vellore) 2. KIT(kalinga institute of technology, orissa). 3. MIT(manipal institute of technology). 4. kMAT(exam for the entrance in the enggineering colleges of south) 5.different engineering exams that is held in every state in which u can get admission in them according to ur domicile. 6. for entrance in engineering colleges of orrisa there is also an entrance exam. 7. pune vidyapeeth entrance exam for admission in different colleges of pune vidyapeeth . it is also a very well renowned college. but the best among all is that u appear for AIEEE and score very good rank in it. if u are able to score upto 15000 in AIEEE than u can get different NIT's. even after that u can get good colleges in different states of india. so work hard to get good rank in AIEEE and u will be having a bright future ahead you. |

Re: Is it possible to do B.Tech after BSc after scoring less than 60%?
Dear friend,
After completion of your B.Sc you can go for B.Tech through two ways:- 1. Direct Admission to B.Tech in some colleges-Although you must have to score a decent percentage to apply as the number of seats available for this course is quite a few. In this case you must have at least 60% in class 10 and 12 2. You have to appear in the various entrance exams like AIEE or IITJEE or other state level exams. A minimum of 55% in PCM, even in some cases 60% is required to appear for the exam. ALL the very best. |
