Hey everyone! Was doing a bit of research on the net and was looking at possible career pathways after BDS. I was thinking about doing OMFS (oral and maxillofacial surgery) and it requires a dual qualification in both dentistry and medicine. Was just wondering how do you apply for medicine after you have graduated with a BDS. Do you have to go through UCAS again and do a personal statement. Would the chances of getting in be good because you already have a dental surgery degree? Also what is the duration of the graduate med course? Surely you wont have to take the first year again since you have already covered it with dentistry? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
