I have completed 12th last year and this year i am taking admission in private bds.
Is there any scope for bds? Is the decission right? I am missing chance of govt mbbs/bds just by 5-6 marks.

There is good scope for BDS course in both the public and private sector. After completing the BDS course you can apply for work or you can prepare for the entrance examination to apply for PG degree courses. After successfully completing BDS course you can apply for higher degree courses like,

-MDS (Masters of Dental Surgery)
-Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Dentistry

You can find jobs in hospitals, public health centers, community health centers and with educational institutions. Apart from those, you can also find job in the defense services. To get job in defense service, the candidate needs to appear in upsc examination. You can also find job forensic department.

hello sir,i just passed my 1st BDS with 76% and i am willing to do MDS in Germany .can i able to do there after my intenship.there any scholarships offering to study MDS in Germany and what are the top colleges?

How can i get bds from private , management quota without entrance exam?

Hi.yes there is scope of BDS like optician
MBBS..aa per the food habbits eye,dental problem had becom big problem. To cure this it requires a specialist. See friend each and every field has its own importance and function.we can not judge it.it wnt be right.if you had an interest in BDS field then you can go forward. To get a seat you can go either by 1) entrance exam like AFMC or Eamcet etc 2) direct payment seat i.e without entrance exam (its cost you a lot like nearly 15lakhs. 3) study in abroad (after completion of course you need to crack MCI held twice a year) after completion of degree either you can continue for higher studies like MD or you can work in govt hospitals or private hospital or you can run your own clinic. You have enough choices to proceed. Good luck

people say there are no scopes of bds in nepal is that true ?? is it not worth to study bds ?

After BDS you can do MDS (Master Of Dental Surgery).
And After Completing your BDS you are also qualified to practice as a Dentist.

A BDS graduate may go for the PG degree programmes leading to the domain MDS(Master Of Dental Surgery).
