Is it possible to do PhD in IIT or NIT after passing B.Tech and M.Tech with distinction?


Sir me completed m.tech with distinction but B.E don't have first class aggregate is it possible to do PhD in IIT and NIT????? Please show me a a way...hopefully waiting your way sir...

See, for doing PHD in any of the IIT's or the NIT's, you will have to wait for their notifications of the respective departments in which you want to puirsue your doctorate.

Then you will have to apply individually to each institution. The application procedure will ask all the details which will then be checked and then he professors of the respective institutions will decide whether you should be given chance or not.

It basically depends on the institution. A strong academic profile is always beneficial but your research topic also holds equal value.

So, there are many things which need to be kept in mind.
