If you want to become a teacher in government school then it is necessary to clear CTET entrance examination.
You can also try for state level entrance examination like- TET, BTET, UPTET etc. But without clearing entrance test it is not possible to join as a government teacher. |

To get recruitment in central government schools ( Kendriya Vidyalaya or JNV ) it is mandatory to appear and qualify in CTET examination.
The examination is conducted by CBSE. For recruitment in state government school you have to appear and qualify in TET examination conducted by respective state. You have all the required qualification to appear in CTET or TET examination. For detail information about examination visit at http://www.ctet.nic.in |

No, you cannot get a government teacher job without clearing CTET or equivalent exam. However, you can get the job if you clear State level Teacher Eligibility Test. CTET is an exam for centre jobs in different school or colleges.
You can join government school/colleges as guest teacher, depending on the requirements of teachers. Only graduation certificates will not land you up in the government job without qualifying the exam. |

Yes, it is necessary to qualify in CTET to get recruitment in government schools of central government.
But for state government you have to qualify in entrance test conducted by STET. So, you have to prepare for CTET and qualify in it if you want to get recruitment in government schools. |

Re: Is it possible to get government teacher job without clearing CTET 2018?
First thing I would like to let you know that to be a teacher in a government funded school you need to qualify Central Teacher Eligibility Test i.e; CTET or state Teacher Eligibility Test.
So being a B.Ed and M.A. degree holder you are still required to qualify either CTET or state TET for your recruitment as a teacher in government school. |
