sir presently i am studying in 1st year Mech. maharaja agrasain institute of technology in pilkhuwa (gzb)
i want to ask u that is it possible to get lateral entry in b.tech 2nd in MAIT of GGSIPU in same branch ie Mech.

Yes my dear friend you can get direct admission in
B.Tech 2nd year through lateral entry scheme .
There are following criteria for lateral entry scheme :-
1]A candidate should have diploma in those field which is related to engineering.
2]A candidate should have at least 50 % in diploma .
3]Then a candidate has to give entrance exam .
4] After clearing the exam a candidate is eligible for engineering.
5]A candidate will get direct admission in 2 nd year of engineering.
So if you have 50 % IN DIPLOMA then you will get admission in engineering .
