how to take lateral entry in bengal btech 3rd semester

West Bengal is one of those renowned places which offer high quality education in the engineering department. A student who wishes to get a lateral entry to any B.Tech courses needs to have a Diploma from the same field. Candidates need to qualify in the competitive exam like JEE carried out by the WBBHSE. Only the candidates who have passed this exam are eligible to apply for a seat in the B.Tech course. In every engineering college certain numbers of seats are allotted for the lateral entry students.
