Postal Assistant Eligibility :

Candidates should have 12th stands with 60% aggregate & English as compulsory subject from a recognized University

Candidates should have studied local language of the state OR Hindi as a subject in Matriculation or equivalent

Candidates age limit between 18 to 27 years , age relaxation as per govt rules

Postal Assistant Exam Details:-

Educational Qualification:-

• General Category candidates needs 60% of marks at 10+2 level.
  
• Reserved Category candidates needs 55% of marks at 10+2 level.
  
• You need to have English as a compulsory subject at 10+2 level.

Proficiency in Local Language:-

You should know how to read and write in the local language of the State where you are intending to apply. It will do if you have have studied hindi at matriculation level or above.

Age Criteria:- 18-27 years.

Exam Pattern:-

• General Knowledge- 25 marks
• Mathematics- 25 marks
• English- 25 marks
• Reasoning and Analytical Ability- 25 marks

Exam Syllabus Pattern and Details for Postal Assistant

Selection Process will include two types of Test.These are :

1. Written Exam.
2. Computer Typing Test.

Written Test will include questions from Four Sections.Total marks for this exam will be 100 marks and Total number of questions will be 100.Total duration of written exam will be of 02 hours.Exam will i8nclude questions from :

• General Knowledge.
• Quantitative Aptitude.
• Reasoning and Analytical Ability.
• English Grammar.

Computer Typing Details :

1. English Typing will include 450 words.
2. Hindi Typing will include 375 words.

Passing Criteria Condition :

• 40% Weight-age Marks will be given for Class 12th Marks which you obtained.
• 50% marks obtained in Aptitude Test.
• 10 Marks in Computer Test and Typing Skills.

Postal Assistants examination is conducted by the Department of Postal Govt .

Educational Qualification :-

If you have completed 12th standard with above 60% marks then you are eligible for Postal assistant Exam .

Postal Assistant Question paper

>> A candidate who have passed out their 12th std. in any discipline from recognized Board Exam can apply for this examination.....

>> A candidate must have secure at least 60% in their 12th Std....

>> Age of candidate should be minimum 18 years....

Relaxation on age:-

## Age Relaxation for OBC up to 3 years on upper age.
