Postal Assistant Exam Eligibility Criteria:-

• If you wish to give this exam then you need to be a higher secondary passed out or its equivalent of a recognized board or university.
  
• At 10+2 level you should have 60% of marks in aggregate.
  
• In 12th standard you should have English as one of your compulsory subject.
  
• Age should not be less than 18 years and it should not exceed the upper age limit of 27 years as well.
  
• You should be well versed in the local language of the State you are applying in.
  
• It helps if you have studied hindi at matriculation level or above.

Exam Pattern and Selection Procedure:-

The selection procedure of this exam includes a written exam which is followed by a computer test. In the written exam there will be four topics of 25 marks each and the same number of questions will be asked from each topic.

For each right answer you will get one mark each. Luckily there is no negative marking as such and the total time limit for completing this exam is two hours.

Exam Pattern At A Glance:-



Computer Test Pattern:-

Computer Typing: You have to type a passage of 450 words in english or 375 words in Hindi within 15 minutes. Minimum typing speed should be 30/25 w.p.m.

Data Entry Knowledge: In this test there will be data of various figures and letters. This needs to be completed in fifteen minutes as well.
