Air force common admission test is conducted twice in a year. This exam is conducted for the selection of candidate as an officer in various branches of Indian Air force like FLYING BRANCH, TECHNICAL BRANCH and GROUND DUTY BRANCH. To be eligible for AFCAT examination a candidate should be graduate in any discipline and have studied physics and maths at 10+2. For the Technical branch only the engineering candidates are eligible.

EXAM PATTERN
Total 100 questions are asked and each question will carry 3 marks. For each incorrect answer 1 mark is deducted. The syllabus for AFACT examination is given below:

(a) General Awareness– History, Sports, Geography, Environment, Civics, Basic Science, Defence, Art, Culture, Current Affairs, Politics etc.

(b) Verbal Ability in English– Comprehension, Error Detection, Sentence Completion, Synonyms, Antonyms and Testing of Vocabulary.

(c) Numerical Ability– Decimal Fraction, Simplification, Average, Profit & loss, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion and Simple interest.

(d) Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test– Verbal Skills and Spatial Ability.

Since the AFCAT examination is started in the year 2011 so it would not be possible to provide you 10 year papers. But the papers available are attached with this post. Kindly download it from the below link.

Question Papers of AFCAT Exam

If you have completed garduation degree thrn ypu are applicable for AFCAT Exam .Your age should be in between 21 to 25 years old.

It consists following four section-Verbal Ability,Numerical Ability,Reasoning,General Awareness and Aptitude.
