PREVIOUS YEAR QUESTION PAPER OF VAO EXAM

If you have 12th standard OR graduation degree then you are applicable for VAO exam but you age should be in between 22 to 30 years old.Age relaxation is provide as per govt rule But you must know the Tamil language.

I have attached some Question Paper of VAO Exam .So please check it out.This paper are really helpful for you.Observe the Question papers of this exam .Also collect some good books for VAO Exam.

you can download the previous papers from tnpsc official websites..

in that website you can get the papers in both tamil and english..


one more gud news is you can get the answer as well cutoff marksfor that exam also..

Examination Dates :-

Date of notification of the advertisement – June, 2012

Date of exam – 30.09.2012

Result of exam - November, 2012

Interview or Counseling for final selection - December, 2012

Vacancies are not fixed so it varies for every year’s advertisement ; Number of vacancies will be posted in the latest detailed advertisement notification .

Mostly, TNPSC( Tamilnadu Public Service Commission ) releases advertisement for VAO exam in two parts
1. One for SC/ST candidates ( Shortfall vacancies ) .
2. Second for other categories .

Who Can apply ( Eligibility ) ::

Age Limiation

Candidates should attain 21 years age i.e candidate’s age should not be less than 21 years . This is applicable to all the candidates.
Candidates must not attain 40 years age i.e. A forty years candidate can not apply for this post .

Above two rules applicable to the following categories
SC/ SC (Arunthathiyars)
STs
MBCs/DCs
BCs
BCM

VAO=Village Administrative Officer

General qualification is required to give this exam which means even a 10 pass out student can sit for this exam.

Age may vary from 21 to 30 years in case of general category.

The upper age limit is 40 for the SC/ST and OBC categories.

Selection is basically based on the written exam which consists of two papers- general knowledge and general english or tamil.

It is a 300 marks exam out of which you need 90 marks to qualify.
