IPS exam is the INDIAN POLICE SERVICE
this exam is conducted by UPSC .
criteria for that:-

*Candidate pass graduation
*Must be an INDIAN
*Age-21 to 30 years

question pattern:-
All question's are objective type but some question's are subjective type but

question related on Aptitude,Reasoning,English.....

Books are:-

Past Civil Service Exam Papers

there are 2 rounds for the civil service exams..

2)Mains :- if you clear the prelims then you will qualify for the mains..here your knowledge of your graduation subjects will be tested..

if you clear this then you will have to go for the interview and the final selection round..
