Procedure of admission in BSc Physics course in Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar? Can we apply online?
i want to pursue BSc(physics) in guru nanak dev university,amritsar.i passed out with 88% in physics in my 12th exam under manipur board.i have checked the university website but i am still confused about the admission procedure.do i require to consult an agent?or contact the university?does the university allow candidates to submit application forms online?please help

Dear friend;
Eligibility for admission into BSc (physics) in Guru Nanak Dev University is: 10+2 examination of Punjab School Education Board or any other examination recognized by the Guru Nanak Dev University as equivalent thereto with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology with at least 50% marks in aggregate. The admission be on the basis of merit in JET (UG) exam to be conducted by Guru Nanak Dev University. Total number of seats = 50 Yes, you can apply online. procedure for online apply is: Step 1>> visit the website www.gnduadmissions.org where he/she will initially fill the Bank Form. The candidate will select the Group followed by the course in which admission is sought. After entering the Name, Father's Name, Registration Number (if already allotted by GNDU), Password, Security Key etc. , the candidate will click the Submit Button to generate Bank Deposit Slip bearing a unique Deposit ID. The candidate is advised to take the print-out of this Bank Deposit Slip in Landscape. step 2>> take printout of the Bank Deposit Slip and visit to any branch of State Bank of Patiala to deposit the printed fee . The bank will issue a Journal ID for the candidate corresponding to his/her Deposit ID and shall return student copy and University copy of Bank Deposit Slip to the candidate. Step 3>> go back to the website www.gnduadmissions.org on the next working day after 2.00 P.M.for the submission of Examination form. He/She will click on the link Examination Form, fill in correct Deposit ID and Password. The Candidate’s Name, Father's Name, Group, Course etc. will appear on the form. He/She will fill fee deposit details provided by the bank in the examination form. After proper validation of Journal ID, he/she will be able to fill rest of the particulars in examination form. The candidate must click on the Submit Button to preview the particulars submitted. In case any correction is required, click on the Edit Button otherwise click on Lock Button. On Clicking the Lock Button, the unique Application ID along with the details of application form willl appear on the screen. After Locking the examination form , the candidate must take printouts of all the three pages of computer generated examination form and paste the photographs at the appropriate place . The candidate will get examination form and photographs attested according to the university norms. The candidate will not be allowed to edit the particulars if he/she has already locked the form. step 4>> The candidate may send the complete examination form either by post in the name of Registrar, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar or may deposit the same at the following locations : Enquiry Office, GNDU Campus, Amritsar GNDU Regional Campus, Ladhewali, Jalandhar GNDU College, Ladowali Road, Near Railway station, Jalandhar GNDU Regional Campus, Gurdaspur all the best. |

i have got compartment in mathematics in class 12(cbse).can i apply for bsc hons physics and get admission in the course because i am sure i will clear it.

I have 3years gap. I have done 10 2(non-med) in p.s.e.b. Ihave secured 65% marks... Am interested in b.sc physics honour. Is there any chance gor me?
