hi i completed my bds in feb 2011.can i know the procedure for applying govt. jobs and career options

Hello friend,
Scope after BDS are as follows
1.You may apply for entry in Army Dental Corps(ADC) which includes the dental branch of Navy.

Eligibility- For entry through direct permanent commission, you will need to obtain a minimum of 60% marks in the BDS exam along with 1 year rotatory internship recognized by Dental Council of India. For entry through short service commission, 55% in the BDS exam will do.

2. You may apply for the Reserve Police Force and other such department.
3. You may also apply to government hospitals.

i'm doing bds 4rm jaipur nd i want 2 research in medical actualy i was doing prepration 4 medical but culd'nt select
so i had to do bds 4 best study about medical so plz suggest me can i do research in medical science wid bds course sir i'm very intrested 2 research in oncology nd get d treatment.

and also you need to do internship certificate by dental care
and you have lot of another jobs are also available

how to pursue research courses after bds 2011-2012??

doing BDS is the worst thing in present senario...i think there is no option left for newly qualified dentist except change the line..or start beging outside the dental college from which u got the so called bloody dental degree,,in present time., even a student pass by just 34% in 10+2 can do BDS from private college,,,,when degree start selling to dogs and cats then nothing left in that course,,,,i request the parents plz plz dont send thier childerens to bloody private dental colleges,,,,they r just like shops where u can buy dental degrees rather than earn it.

Hi, if you have the BDS degree, yes you can apply for any government sector. Well, the education criteria changes from time to time as per availability of posts.
There are so many other exams you can go for-
1.Army Dental corps,
2.Govt hospitals ,
3.private hospitals etc.
4.Check the employment news regularly, you will find vacancies for BDS in many organizations.

Yes its absolutely essential to go through an entrance exam, you have to apply through regular medical entrance exams like AIPMT or as per your state.

-Indian army
-Indian Navy
-Indian Air Force
-Railway dental doctor
-C.R.P.F
