hi friend
There are state level and national level test are organised named as STET : State Teacher Eligibility Test and National Eligibility Test for lecturership. It is good that you have a BEd degree it would be advantageous for state teacher. Once you cleared STET , you will be called for the corresponding teacher post when it will be vacant. |

For state level teaching you have to give State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) and for national level you have to give National Eligibility Test (NET) organized by UGC.
For full information on STET & NET check out my attachments. |

Re: Procedure to get teaching job in central and state government schools?
Dear Friend,
Teaching is the top noblest job of all the professions life. Its quality is always in high. However, there are so many entrance exams state wise, national level etc, most of the examinations are conducted by STET. Some important examinations are: 1:SSC(School Service Commission) 2:CSC(College Service Commission) 3:NET(National Eligibility Test), 4:SET. Now a days according to the State Govt,it will be better if you have a 2yr B.Ed degree in your subject, then you will get more priority than others. So,study properly, gather more General knowledge,Current affairs, aptitude, your main subject, then I thing you must pass those entrance exam for teaching. Good luck. |
