Please provide me the procedure for getting admission in 2nd year of Bechlors Degree in Engineering(Production/Mechanical). I want to get my son admitted in colleges near Delhi/NCR. He is completing his Diploma in Engineering(Production) 3 years from Bharti Vidyapeeth, Pune.

most reputed institutes of india admit the students to 2nd year through lateral entry scheme,on the basis of rank acquired by them in (CET).

but there many institute offering direct addmission.as for example-
1)Hindustan group of institutions.
2)Alwar institute of engineering and technology.(rajisthan).
3)Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology,
Kashmere Gate, Delhi – 110403.
4)Amity School of Engg. & Technology
580, Delhi Palam Vihar Road, Bijwasan New Delhi – 110061

Some colleges may conduct examinations and take up students... U choose which college ur son want to join... And follow the procedures to join for that specific colleges....

When lateral entry admission opens, they will announce and they will issue the forms,..
after filling the forms you will be called for counseling,.. there you can be admitted in any college according to your marks,....this the way for merit admission,...

and you can go by management seat also, for that you have to contact the specific college at which you want to join,...

there is test conducted in andhra pradesh to join as lateral entry. you can apply for that test.

almost all institutes provide direct 2 nd year admission for diploma students.....contat the institute directly for further details where you want your son to study.........

So, please fill the form of Indraprastha university in delhi and get there admission in 2nd year through lateral entry in B.Tech.

for lateral entry u must have diploma or u must have any graduation degree with maths
u can apply for state or india level entrance exams..they all have options of lateral entry for all of u

you can apply for up-tech, ip university and md university.

the procedure for lateral admission in b.tech you have to search the official site of manny university. plz check online for lateral procedure.

just fill in the lateral entry exam forms avialable with all other national level forms jelet in lateral entry for bengal colleges.........

Lateral Entry to II Year B. Tech. : Lateral admission to II year B. Tech. is offered to Diploma/B.Sc.
(Maths) holder on 10% of intake capacity in each branch as per guidelines of Govt. of Rajasthan.

you have to fill the lateral entry form.

if you want to take admission in b.tech through lateral entry then go for it.........
all state level exam have separate seats for lateral exam.........
you can get the admission into b.tech........just fill up the form in which state you are want to go............
like west bengal,up....and lot of more states are conducted exam for laterals.........

every state technical universities of India,IIT,NITs they take entrance exams every year for the admission of students to 2nd year of b.tech through lateral entry.

like WBUT takes JELET for this case.

so u give the exam and score good results then u will be admitted to college as per ur rank.

after you diploma course if you want to take admission in the b.tech then for this you have to give the entrance exam under which you want to take the admission,
like you can give the exams of aieee,iit jee,wb jee. cusat

2.after diploma you have to give the GLATE(general lateral aptitude test examination)

then you can get admission in B.Tech second year......
