Re: Which programming language should I select for my career?
You can select the programming language you feel comfortable to work with. Programming languages like Java or ASP.NET have equal demand in the present job market. Both these languages will help you to build up a rewarding career in software field. Top firms like Infosys, Wipro etc offer jobs in .NET and java programming. These firms offer salary with in the range of Rs. 2 lakh and Rs. 5 lakh per annum in the entry level itself.

Re: Which programming language should I select for my career?
Hello dear,
As you know Java and .NET are both powerful languages that can change the platform of a software with its advanced tools. Here are some of the basic difference between them: JAVA:- > class-based, object-oriented computer programming language. >It is used to build many applications like mobile applications are jar files, and almost run on any platform,it is independent of the platform. > its main advantage is its portability, which allows computer programs written in the Java language to run similarly on any hardware/operating-system. >syntax of Java is largely derived from C++ and almost it uses object oriented concepts like class, polymorphism. >Nowadays, people are focusing more on java applets and mobile security applications. here is the sample applet diagram with java, Here is some thing about .NET:- > .NET runs in a secure environment possibly written in multiple source languages,.NET framework consists of two key components: .NET Framework Class Library, and Common Language Runtime(CLR). >Here, when it is compiled it is translated to machine independent language. >Uses C# language to run .NET platform. >It is open based and use to build many applications based on railways, banking and other projects. >Since the .NET is fairly new platform, there has been much less research conducted in the area of performance improvement targeting specifically this platform. So, java has development all the world, and research is going on since very long time, it has great prospects. |
