I have done MASTER OF COMPUTER APPLICATION. But I have not done any kind of Project and I have nor done any specialization in any particular language like Visual basic/C/C++. What should I do to start my career?

U r a computer professional so in order to get job u must have knowledge in programming languages. If u dont have then u should join any institute and learn at least 3 or 4 basic and useful languages like-c/c++/.net/oracle/visual basic. Hurry up without knowing prog. Language. U can only get a job of computer operator.

If you really want to setup good career you may go for MBA in computer science. other wise you may give your bio data on naukri.com/jobs.com

It is not compalsary you can do specilize certificate bcouse of your intillage and after Master Of Computer Application you Can join any softwere companies and also you can do Specilize perticular language this is very important to us becouse you need any special language you know for using language you can do any project.

If u want to become a programmer / developer then C, C++ and JAVA are the basic languages u should know. Plus u should go for specialization in some language of ur interest. Getting Certification will be an added advantage like SUN JAVA or .NET certifications.
Other types of jobs can be in networking or in Database, For n/wing u need either CISCO certifications like CCNA, CCNP etc or Microsoft Certification like MCSD, MCSE etc..
If u r good in databases u can go for ORACLE certification
Else if interested, u can go for ERP, SAP etc. also.
Basically u need to first decide what kind of job u r interested and just go about it starting from basics, after that sky is the limit..

4.NETWORKING.

There are number of oppurtunities after MCA,lots of IT companies like INFOSYS,WIPRO,IBM,TCS,CTS,etc....hire MCA holders.But as you mentioned you mentioned you do not have much knowledge in programming which infact is very important,atleast you must be strong in your basics for the entry level.If you can also try in networking field.You can get a specialization in courses like,
system management,system engineering,software development,management information systems,hardware &networking.

Hey dude,
This happens with lots of people. They have done the degree, but they don't know the basic languages. So at the end of the day, they face al ot of problems.
I am also like you, I have no interest in programming, but hopefully I got a good job and working on QTP. There is a very big scope in IT industries. They require each kind of person.

Firstly u have to learn more programing languages as you are cs professional without these lang. you can't do more u could only work as computer operator i think you should learn more programing lang.

dear friend first of all you should make strong your basic knowledge of C and C++
these are the two basic tool for the software devlopment jobs dontworry you have done your MCA now you have to spent your 6 or 7 monthe more for these special courses you start from the C it is of 2 monthe course then you do C++ it is also 2 month with english speaking course for 3 month course then on behalf these courses you can easily get the goo company like

specialization is very much necessary to get master in your subject.As in MCA project work is essential to get full knowkedge & that will also help in shaping your future needs so its better for you that to start a career ,first complete your project work and then learn the programming language,You will definitely get a good job. Always remember that mere getting a degree is like a blank paper and it is valuable only for you.

Nowadays IT companies hires only that persons who are well skilled in coding and have best command over languages. There are many languages as C, C++, C#, java core and java advance, assembly , .net, asp.net, HTML and also you have to learn about operating system one you already know as window and the other is linux and unix.You should be known some language essencially as C, C++, Java core and Java advance and also .net.
you should also know about HTML.

There are lot of languages in computer science but if you have a degree of MCA and you are having strong command over java and .net definitely you can get a better career and ofcourse there will be atleast 60% marks in your MCA degree and should be done from a good college.

To start ur career i would like to recommend u to go for government sector. There's a post of IT officer in State bank and its subsidiary banks.
eligibility criteria is MCA and basic knowledge of computer, that u already have as u've done masters.

Other options are:
1. Armed forces
2. Civil Services
3. Railway
4. Teaching field
and other government areas.

this is the best time to learn about any language.u have several options for ur future.my suggestion is u should choose java language as ur future prefernce.
java is a very good language to learn and a very easy language too.
java is a platform independent language and many companies work on this language.
u can learn launguage from a good institutes.
work hard regulary.do programming regularly so u can get job in IT sector.there are many jobs for a good programmer and there is also need for good programmers.

im doing my mca but im not good in programming and also i dont want to take my career as software developre so please sugest me now i wil go for which course or will i continue my mca or i will leave

hi I m saravanan, I have arrears in my MCA I cannot clear some papers and I don't have confidence that I will
allclear im little bit interested in networking side, any current openings are in networking side

Initially when I took admission for mca I thought companies provide training on their work and give jobs. but now it is very difficult for me to decide.
