See there are a lot of project genres available in your B.Sc. IT course. But the question is that do you have appropriate guide for that project who can properly guide you and help you secure not only good marks but also a really good project work for your future use.
Mostly universities have limited amount of guides that can guide you only on subjects that they like, so you got to choose your comfortable subject from that genre itself.
Now for you some good project works can be on subjects like:
Mobile Communications,
Wireless Networking,
Data Warehousing,
ASP and DOT NET related,
JAVA applet related,
and last but not the least Bio-informatics related.
Do not be surprised when I say this. Because today bio-informatics has a lot of advantages in research domain. If you club any aspect of bio-informatics with IT domain you may get a brilliant project out of it.
