CA stands for Chartered Accountancy. This course has three stages:

>>Common Proficiency Test.

>>Integrated Professional Competence course.

>>Final course.

The minimum qualification for CPT is 10+2 passed or appearing from a recognized board. Graduates in commerce with 55% marks or more can directly apply for IPCC stage. So, you need to first clear your bachelor's degree with 55% marks or more. Then you need to directly apply for IPCC stage and clear its examination to get enrolled for IPCC and in Chartered Accountancy course.

Its not beneficial for wasting 3 years for getting a base for CA. You can actually make use of CPT the entrance exam for CA. It is conducted on june and december. After bcom you will get a base but CA itself take a long period, still wasting 3 years does not make any sense. Do appear for CPT. Go for IPCC directly. Make use of time.
