This is Divya,persuing 3rd btech.I very curious to work in ISRO.I need to know the perfect qualification that needed to work as scientist in ISRO and also the procedure of attending for inter view.And the salaries they attain for all B,C,D,G and H scientists.I think your answer will help me.

The candidates who have completed their engineering degree are eligible for the job position of Scientist in ISRO. Those who possess PG degree in Physics, Applied Physics or other equivalent subjects can also apply. The candidate should possess at least 65% marks to apply for the job. They have to pass the selection procedure of ISRO to get in to the post. The selection will include entrance test and interview.

is production engg. can do wark in ISRO?

NASA takes specialists from different disciplines like in

• Mathematics
• Engineering
• Computer science
• Biological science
• physical science

etc

Candidate needs to be specialise at master's level and then do a PHD followed

by at least three years of related Work Experience.

NASA also has a career intern programme to recruit and attract exceptional individuals in to a variety of entry level occupations

participants in the this 2 years programme gain valuable on the job experience as well as formal classroom training.

Hi Divya,

ISRO looks for B.Tech/M.Tech with Specializations in (ECE, EEE, MECH, COMP...) candidates. some times ISRO will issue spectial notifications for candidates with M.Sc in Physics,Mathematica,Geoinfomatics etc...entry level is Scientist -C.

Hi Divya

The basic requirement for ISRO is that you should have a b.tech degree with very good marks from recognized college or institute.

Once you have your B.Tech degree with good marks. You need to appear for SET ( Scientist Entry Test) based on which selection would be made.

you would be joining as scientific officer.

IIST TRIVANDRUM , direct placment in ISRO. no interview , nothing . www.iist.ac.in . but its tough to get there . u have to score high in iit jee.
