sir,plz tell me about registration of online cpt. actully i was fail in june cpt.
tell about all the procedure about nearest online attempt. All the detail of fees and all..plz sir as soon as possible..

HII , friend great to hear that you are going to write your Common Proficiency Test(CPT)
Online Registration Mode of Examination is with following dates friend 24th and 25th July, 2010 and 18th and 19th September, 2010 and 23rd and 24th October, 2010
there is the exam session separated with two batches
First Session
(that is in Morning Session)and the timing is 10.30 AM to 12.30 PM (IST)
Section - A Fundamentals of Accounting
Section - B Mercantile Laws
Second Session
(that is in Afternoon Session)and the timing is 2.00 PM to 4.00 PM (IST)
Section - C General Economics
Section - D Quantitative AptitudE
the fees structure of the examination is which may be obtained from the following address on payment of
Rs. 600/- (Rs.500/- towards examination fee and Rs. 100/- towards cost of CA CPT Exam 2010 application form and Information brochure)per CPT 2010 application form.

You can appear at the CPT examination immediately after completing your 12th exams. The CPT exams was held 2 times in a year in the month of june and december.

The registration for CPT course can be done all throughout the year and there is no such last date for registration. The cost of Application or Prospectus for Registering for the CPT Course is 100 rs and the examination fees is 500 rs.

Hi, Friend actualy , u missed the nearest chance to appear for cpt, the nest chance to register online for cpt is from 18Aug to 2Sept, The exam will be conducted on 18,19 Sept2010. There are two sections in this exam,

First Session
(i.e. Morning Session) 10.30 AM to 12.30 PM (IST)
Section - A Fundamentals of Accounting
Section - B Mercantile Laws

Second Session
(i.e. Afternoon Session)
2.00 PM to 4.00 PM (IST)
Section - C General Economics
Section - D Quantitative Aptitude

The medium of exam is in english and you can give this exam two times in a period of six months,,once in paper pencil based and once in online format

the total fee is 600rs, 500Rs for exam fee and 100 for brochure and form fee..

If you really want to register yourself for CPT-online exam there you first decide the date for which you want to take the CPT online exam. The only weblink where you can apply is : http://icaiexam.icai.org.

The test date and last date of registration are stated as below:

For 24th July 2010, 25th July 2010-----7th July, 2010(upto 17:30 hrs)
For 18th September 2010,19th September 2010------2nd September, 2010(upto 17:30 hrs)
For 23rd October 2010,24th October 2010------------5th October, 2010(upto 17:30 hrs)
