Required Qualification for getting admission to M.Tech?

The best way to get admission in M.Tech courses are through GATE Exam .GATE stands for General Aptitude Test in Engineering and if you will perform better in this exam , you have the chance to get IITs and NITs .Check the eligibility criteria for GATE examination from below :

So focus on the syllabus of last 2 years of your B.Tech courses as questions are asked mainly from these as these 2 years contains mainly the branch paper.

(a) Bachelor’s degree holders in Engineering/Technology or its equivalent.

(b) Bachelor’s degree holders in Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/Electronics/ followed by qualifications obtained through an examination conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE.

(c) Bachelor’s degree holders in Architecture/Design (for M Des program only)

May i got addmition in m.tech on the basis of 2011 gate score ,if i am not able to qualify this year(2012) or get less marks then the previous year.

You are look like M.tech aspirant, then you have to qualify in GATE exam to take admission in M.tech course..

GATE exam is an entrance exam for M.tech course, which is conducted by IISC and IIT's jointly..

Eligibility for GATE exam:--------------

1.Candidate must have complete the bachelor's degree in fields like- BE/B.tech/B.Arch..
Or,
Candidate must have complete the master's degree in fields like- MBA/MCA/M.Sc..

2.Final year candidates of bachelor's degree or master's degree are also eligible for the exam.

3.No such percentage criteria is required.

4.No number of attempts restriction.

5.validity of GATE score card remains for 2 years.

These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill.

So, go for the exam and try to qualify in the exam with a good score , because depending on your score card you will be able to take admission in M.tech college..

2.No percentage is reqquired for M.TECH.
3.You can give the exam of GATE for getting addmission in IIT and some other good colleges.
4.If you want to take addmission in IIT then you should have to score in merit list of GATE exam.
5.You can apply for GATE in final year.
6. NO attempt rectriction is there for GATE.

These are the above criteria for getting addmission in M.TECH which you have to fullfill

The Qualification required for GATE at present is as follows....

a) Bachelor’s degree holders in Engineering/Technology/ Architecture (4 years after 10+2) and those who are in the final year of such programmes.

b) Bachelor's degree holders in Engineering/Technology/Architecture (Post-B.Sc./Post-Diploma) and those who are in the final year of such programmes.

c) Master’s degree holders in any branch of Science/Mathematics/ Statistics/Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in the final year of such programmes.

d) Candidates in the second or higher year of the Four-year Integrated Master’s degree programme (Post-B.Sc.) in Engineering/Technology.

e) Candidates in the fourth or higher year of Five-year Integrated Master’s degree programme or Dual Degree programme in Engineering/Technology.

Required Qualification for getting admission to M.Tech is you have to pass B.tech with 60% and then you have to write the GATE entrance exam with qualify then you will get the seat in M.tech course.
