My friend girls are not eligible for NDA exam.

Only unmarried male candidates can apply for NDA exam.

If you really want to join in Defense then you first complete your graduation, after which you can appear in CDS exam..

Through Officers training Academy (non-technical ssc women) scheme you join in defense.

Girls are not eligible for NDA exam.Only unmarried Male candidate who age is between 16 1/2 to 19 year and complete 12th class with PCM stream from a recognized university are eligible for NDA exam.

So if you are that much interest,then you can join in Defense service,soon after your graduation degree,by appear for CDS exam.This exam is also conducted by UPSC every year twice.And conducted to take qualified students into different defense service like Indian Air Force,Indian Navy and Indian Army.

This exam notification will release in the month of Oct and June Every year.And exam will held on February and September every year.

If you really want to join defence ten you an apply after graduation.
You have to qualify the exam called as COMBINE DEFENCE SERVICES EXAM(C.D.S.E)

C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass graduation with any subject from recognized university
> Age limit:-19-24 year
> Medically fit

NDA examination is conducted for recruitment of Army wings,Navy wings and Air force courses and this examination is conducted twice in a year by Union Public Service Commission.This examination will be conducted by UPSC on 15th April 2012.

To apply for Air force and Navy wings :- The student must have studied Physics and Mathematics in their examination.

To apply for Army wings :- Physics & Mathematics in 12th examination is not must.

First of all i would like to tell you that there is no provision for Girls to appear in the NDA Examination as this examination is conducted only for male candidates.

However , if you have such interest in joining the Defense Line , then you can do this through the Combined Defense Services Examination.

The Combined Defense Services Examination is also conducted by the Union Public Service Commission two times in a year.

The CDS-I Exam is conducted in the month of February and CDS-II Exam is conducted in the month of December.

But do get depressed if you are interested or quite keen to join the defense there is still one entrance at bachelor's degree which will provide your opportunity to join defense if you clear the exam.

The entrance exam is called Combined defense services .It is also conducted twice every year by the UPSC just like NDA .

Minimum of bachelor's degree as academic qualification is required for this exam .

The age limit is 19-25 years under different academies.

Both male and female with unmarried marital status are eligible to apply for the exam.

You must be physically and mentally fit.

So first of all complete your bachelor's degree in any desired discipline then prepare for the exam right from second year of bachelor's degree and then give the exam.

as the criteria required for the NDA (national defense academy) is intermediate passed,age between 16 1/-19 years,medically fit and fine,indian,unmarried male only,sharp eye sight

girls have the option to join defense after completing their graduation.then you can indian army,indian navy or indian air force

when you reach degree final year then you can appear for CDS exam known as 'combined defense service.

like NDA exam,CDS exam is also same but diffrence in their qualification and the age limit..right

There is no such criteria. Girls can not give nda exam. It is only for male candidates.
However you can apply for CDS(OTA). You can give this exam only when you have completed graduation or in the final year of graduation.

So first complete graduation and then apply for CDS.
