i am opting for b.pharm right now. and planning to go for phd after my mba in pharmacy so what are the scopes?

There will always be oppurtunities in this field because of ever growing pharmaceutical companies, nursing homes and related industries.
Since you are pursuing B.Pharm, MBA in Pharmacy will take you to the corporate world where you can make a rewarding career in the pharmaceutical Marketing field and could touch the heights.The more experience you gain, the more rewarding it will be.

But if you want to get involved in research works, development of new useful drugs or would like to be a lecturer, then ofcourse you should go for Phd. which provides you with indepth knowledge of Pharmacy.

MBA with Specialization in Pharmaceutical deals with Pharma related industry and Pharma management and marketing along with general management curriculum which will give you a high paid salary job...Yes you can do your Phd after mba in pharmacy which will give you scope to work
in the research field..

You confuse me a little. Your ultimate goal is to do your Ph.D., something that will land you jobs and positions in drug/clinical research, etc. That being the case, you should go for M.Pharm after B.Pharm. Is it possible to do PhD after B.Pharm?

Hi friends, I have a degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) and MBA (Mktg). I have 6 yrs experience in Product Management (Cardio) with a reputed Pharmaceutical company. I took a 5 yr sabbatical from work ( marriage.. child.. family..aged parents..). Now, 1. what are my job options in a ltd time frame? 2. teaching prospects? 3. can i study further...phd? how will it help? I am 35.

yes but this is not available in india..in US even i am doing phD after my b.pharma from india

if you want to opt for Electronics for further studies then having a good command over Physics is is satisfactory in the case you are not so good in Mathematics.

But having a Good command in Mathematics will always be an asset in this sector, but dont worry if you have Physics Power you can lead.

We, cant say that Mathematics has no use in Electronics, yes there would be Maths but basically in the form of Applied one.

Nope..after completion of b pharm you must carry on with m pharm then go for phD..because phD is a accredited program of m pharm..you must have knowledge m pharma..don't loose hope..do masters..
