SET & MPSC Exams information
I wish to appear for SET as well as MPSC examination. I am presently doing MA-Part I and would like to update myself on the above so that I can prepare myself by the time I get eligible for the same.
Require guidance and also information on the notes and syllabus. |

Hello friend,
Maharashtra State Eligibility Test for Lectureship (SET) is conducted by University Of Pune, under the guidelines of UGC. To be eligible for the exam, the candidate is required to have passed the master degree examination with a minimum of 55% marks. Candidates belonging to SC/ST category, with a minimum of 50% in the same, are eligible to appear for the test. The examination is conducted in the following subjects Marathi, Hindi, English, Sanskrit, History, Economics, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, Political Science, Defence & strategic Studies, Home Science, Library & Information Science, Journalism and Mass Communication, Social Work, Public Administration, Mathematical Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Life Sciences, Earth Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Geography, Computer Science & Application, Electronic Science, Commerce, Law, Education & Physical Education. Candidates are not allowed to appear in subjects other than the subject of their Post Graduation. In case the subject is not listed, one can appear for related subjects. As far as MPSC is concerned, several examination, for different departments, are conducted and the eligiblity criteria varries according to departments and posts btu most of them demand bachelor degree as the minimum educational qualification. this exam is conducted by the university, and for this exam the minimum qualification is graduation with 555 marks. and you can get the syllabus from the official websites of the university. |

Maharashtra State Eligibility Test for Lectureship (SET) is conducted by University Of Pune, under the guidelines of UGC. To be eligible for the exam, the candidate is required to have passed the master degree examination with a minimum of 55% marks. Candidates belonging to SC/ST category, with a minimum of 50% in the same, are eligible to appear for the test. The examination is conducted in the following subjects Marathi, Hindi, English, Sanskrit, History, Economics, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, Political Science, Defence & strategic Studies, Home Science, Library & Information Science, Journalism and Mass Communication, Social Work, Public Administration, Mathematical Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Life Sciences, Earth Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Geography, Computer Science & Application, Electronic Science, Commerce, Law, Education & Physical Education. Candidates are not allowed to appear in subjects other than the subject of their Post Graduation. In case the subject is not listed, one can appear for related subjects. As far as MPSC is concerned, several examination, for different departments, are conducted and the eligiblity criteria varries according to departments and posts btu most of them demand bachelor degree as the minimum educational qualification.
