Since the query is related to the recognition of the degree awarded by Sikkim Manipal Univeristy, the graduation as well as post graduation, both will be accepted by State Bank of India for Probationary Officer or any other examination.

The degrees awarded by the university are approved and recognized by the following regulatory bodies:
  • University Grant Commission
  • Distance Education Council
  • Ministry of Human Resource Development

Recognition by these regulatory bodies makes the degree acceptable all over India for any kind of competitive examination as well as jobs in private as well as public sectors.

Sikkim Manipal university distance learning is the recognised by UGC (University Grant Commission ), DEC( Distance Education council ) and AIU(Association of Indian Universities ) . So the degree achieved from this university is valid for SBI PO exam .

sir i am btech in electronics...and i am doing distance learning mba from ignou.will this help me gettng prmtn in bank servces or will it play no role...basically i wanna 9 dat is it worth doing for promotions in public sector banks from scale 1 to scale 2?
