Can I apply for UPSC exam after doing B.Tech Bioinformatics from SRM university?
i am studying b.tech bio-informatics from srm university, it is deemed university, ugc approved..Can i get appear in upsc exam?????

Since the university is a recognized university, you can appear for UPSC exam.
Basic educational qualification required is a graduate degree in any subject from a recognized university. |

Hello Friend,
Since your college is UGC approved and is a recognised university you can appear in various UPSC exams. The eligibility for most of the UPSC exams is Graduation, so you must complete your graduation in order to appear in the exams. So concentrate on your studies as you are eligible for the UPSC exams. Yes, definitely you can apply for the UPSC exams as you have completed your graduation degree from a UGC recognized university. The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for UPSC exams is to have a graduation degree from a recognized university/institute. So go for it. All the best!! |

Yes after your graduation you can apply for UPSC exam ..........
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR UPSC EXAM: Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree of a recognized university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering or an equivalent qualification. Age limit: 21 years must be completed on 1st August of the year, which a candidate is appearing. Maximum 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs.
