You can become Police Inspector by clearing the State PSC exam conducted every year by State PSC. To be eligible for the exam, you first need to complete your Graduation. The graduation can be done in any stream or subjects.

>> The exam is conducted in three stage :
1. Preliminary Examination
2. Main Examination
3. Personal Interview

>> The minimum education qualification for the exam is Graduation in any stream.

>> The age limit for the exam is 21-30 years. (Age relaxation applicable for the reserve category)

>> You need to meet the certain physical standards required for the post.

>> Candidates who qualify in the Preliminary Exam have to write the Main examination and if they clear the Main Examination, then Personal Interview is taken. A candidate is also tested for the physical standard and if a candidate clears all the stages, then he is given the post.
