How to join CID as an under cop agent?
I am 27 years old working as an assistant manager in State Bank of India. AND would like to join CID as an under cop agent this is my passion. i am passionate about the adventurous and life risking activities especially if it does good for my nation and my fellow beings. i am looking for the job in this field.

![]() CID is the abbreviation for Central Investigation Department and is one of the spy department of the CBI. The exam is conducted by UPSC and SSC for this.

CID stands for Criminal Investigation Department.CID was created by the British government in 1906. CID is a crime detection agency under the Government of India.
There are various post in CID---- Additional Director General of Police(ADGP) Inspector general of police(IGP) DIG SP DSP Inspector Superintendent Sub Inspector Assistant Sub Inspector Constable To become a Assistant sub Inspector in the CID candidate must pass in class 12.If any candidate want to become a officer in CID team then he/she must have a graduation degree.The basic qualification for CID course is to pass in class 12th with arts or science.To become a undercop agent candidate have 2 year experience in police department as a assistant Sub Inspector then he/she transfer to the CID as a supercop agent. CID get Rs 8000 to 24500 per annum as per the Post. |
