hi dear, for becoming an astronaut u shoud opt non-medical. becouse physics n mathematics are needed there. . .

For becoming an astronaut you need to do 11 in non- medical because for this you will needed physics and mathematics

if i chose medical can i become an astronaut? and only cbse is gud for becomin an astronaut or other stream also is gud????/

Dear friend,You have to first pass 10+2 with pcm.In india There is no undergraduate program for astronomy and astrophysics.Not only in india but also many countries do not provide astronomy in undergraduate.Many people have desired to study astronomy.First choose yourself what you want to do in the future.There are two major types scientists in astronomy.1.Theoretical astronomer 2.Technicians.If you like to be theoretical researcher in the field of astronomy,You have to study b.sc physics.In order to be a technicians in astronomy you have to do b.tech(electrical/electronics).After studying b.sc you can apply for integrated ph.d in theoretical astronomy.After studying b.tech you can apply for integrated ph.d in instrumentation in astronomy.For doing above courses you need to crack JEST EXAM.Then you can apply for job to NASA.ALL THE BEST.
