i want to prepare for iist entrance exam.
i don't know how to get material for study and sample papers of it.
plz help me.

It is not a special exam that a student take. Its syllabus is also the same as of AIEEE or JEE. All questions will be of objective type and will consist of three separate sections in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The answer for each question is to be recorded on a specially designed machine-gradable sheet of paper. The candidate is expected to choose the correct answer options and record his/her response by darkening the appropriate bubble using hard black (HB) pencils only. Marking more than one answer for any given question will render the response invalid. Correct answers will be awarded three marks each. Every incorrect answer will be awarded one negative mark.

But if you passed your 12 this year , you can apply even in this week . There are some vacant seats in IIST.

I am not clear about in which year you wanna take admission means after your 12th or after degree courses.

However,if you wanna take admission in Indian Space Science & Technology(IIST) after graduation such as B.Tech you have to sit ISAT exam.

in general,
1:if you passed the B.Tech in ECE, B.Tech in Physical Science or B.Tech in Aerospace Engg. etc then you can it for ISAT examination.

2:The examination is of two papers each of them have 2hrs based on Physics, Chemistry,Math of objective types.

3:you have to be Indian citizen

Buddy IIST organises an entrance test called ISAT for which the study material isnt different from any other examiniations.

However i recommend you the following books

For physics : NCERT,HC Verma
For Chem : NCERT,Arihant
For Maths : Ml Khanna or RD sharma,Arihant and TMH

try it out and i am sure you will crack it
